Grandma Nesheim's Lefse Recipe

Ingredients

Method

  1. Rice or slice potatos into very small pieces. Cook until boiling.
  2. Measure 1 and 2/3 cup of the boiled water (potato water). Add 1/4 cup oil.
  3. Mix with flour, salt, and sugar
  4. Mix into a small ball and roll until thin.
  5. Put on a lefse griddle at 500 degrees, or a hot flat stove.
  6. Turn in 1/2 sections, until small brown dots appear. Do not burn.
